Bush Fire Control

PROHIBITED BURNING PERIOD

The time period of each year where it is unlawful to set fire to the bush at any time. 

This time is from 1^st November to 31^st March of the following year. 

This time may be amended, subject to prevailing seasonal conditions.

RESTRICTED BURNING PERIOD

The time period of each year where it is unlawful to set fire to the bush without a valid Permit to Set Fire To The Bush issued by an Authorised Officer. 

Shire of Wiluna has two (2) periods:

            Restricted Burning Period 1:  20^th September to 30^th October

            Restricted Burning Period 2:  1^st April to 12^th May
